Birth: ~ 2nd of three reported children, in the 1538 created Loughborough, Leicestershire, England.

Census (England): 1871, age 7 Loughborough, Leicestershire, England with parents, two siblings & ten servants.

Census(England): 1881, age 17 Loughborough, Leicestershire, England with parents, two guests & four servants.

~ May 1881, immigrated at age 19 arriving New York from Liverpool aboard vessel CELTIC.

Census(Iowa): 1885, age 21, single, Washington township, Plymouth county, Iowa, southeast quarter of southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 92N, Range 46W of 5th PM, a laborer.

Met Jane Armstrong in Washington township, Plymouth county, Iowa where likely (?) married before removing to Nebraska to start their family of eight known children.

Traveled Liverpool to New York, 20 March 1893 by self, age 30, aboard vessel AURANIA.

Traveled New York to Liverpool, 14 October 1896 by self, age 34, a banker aboard vessel ETRURIA.

Sutton family migrated from Nebraska to Polk county, Missouri with six known children, following birth of "Regy", around 1897.

Census: 1900, age 37 Marion township, Polk county, Missouri with wife & seven of eight children.

Family removed to Jackson township, Jasper county, Missouri, to saloon keeper Al Parker's former house at southeast corner Grand avenue (old Neosho Military Road) & Fairview. Here was kept granddaughter Gertie's horse and where she rode it, and earlier, had explored for underground deposits of lead or zinc.

Census: 1910, age 47 Jackson township, Jasper county, Missouri with wife & seven children of their eight known children, missing is first born, Albert T, a freshman student Kansas State University in 1908 and who may (?) have 1st married Ruby Winkler and died 1944 Benton county, Washington. Also across Grand avenue in Marion township lived George Washington Gilmore's family till the house burnt in 1928, then widow Gilmore removed to California to live with son.

"Algernon Trevor Sutton returned to England because, World War One caused the British government to nationalize the Sutton holdings, Coal mines, factories, etc. England gave Algernon 1,000 poundsterling [$102,044 in 2013 U S dollars] a year that he could take out of the country. He shot himself and died in England. It was almost a year before Jane H Sutton and Maud Sutton were able to book passage back to America due to German U-boats and the war.". He died 14 August 1914 at Ivanhoe Hotel Bloomsbury then interned with his parents in Old Brompton cemetery, West Brompton, Greater London, England.

1)- (07/15/2014) "This grave was on the central avenue indicating that the Suttons were very wealthy. Old Brompton is the final resting place for 12 VC persons, Emmeline Pankhurst, Dr John Snow and so on. It is also the place where Beatrix Potter got inspiration for her characters names."

2)- (08/01/2014) "Thank you for your reply it was very interesting. Just to let you know that I have cleaned the grave and contains the following inscription:

~ NOTE, "On 5 September 1914, HMS PATHFINDER was sunk by [German] SM U-21, the first ship to have been sunk by a submarine using a self-propelled torpedo."

Returning 12 September 1914 was widow Jane, daughters Alice & Martha and son Reginald aboard ss CAMEROMA from Glasgow, Scotland arriving New York the 21st.

Death: resulting from a self-inflicted gun shot in a hotel room in Bloomsbury, London, England.

Burial: In the wealthy section along central avenue, with both his parents.
