Mrs. Minna Elizabeth Barnsback, 77, formerly of Edwardsville, died at 6 a.m. Saturday in Chicago, where she has resided for the past 10 years.
A native of Edwardsville, the deceased was born Dec. 15, 1879, the daughter of the late James E. and Minna Whitbread.
Her only survivors are her nieces and nephews, Mrs. Frank Godfrey, Edwardsville; Harold Boeschenstein, Toledo, O.; Charles Krome Boeschenstein and Elliot Whitbread, St. Louis; Mrs. Carl Wolf, Scarsdale, N.Y.; Mrs. Harry Tartt, Orlando, Fla.; and Mrs. Carlile Crutcher, Louisville, Ky.
She was a member of St. Andrew Episcopal church.
Private funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Weber funeral home with the Rev. John M. Young of Alton officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
