Mrs. Yates is a native of Jamestown, NY; born on January 27, 1983, the daughter of Barbara Ann Perky Stevens and the late Carmen Perry Sr. Jennifer had spent ten years in the Tri-Cities area, a member of Daniel Boone Class of 2002 and lived the past six years in Fayetteville, GA.
Jennifer was a very loving wife and mother. She enjoyed helping with children, loved to read, took pleasure in listening to Christian music and was a member of White Water Church in Fayetteville, GA.
In addition to her father, Jennifer Yates is preceded in death by her aunt, Kim Fink.
Survivors of Jennifer Yates include her husband Richard S. Yates and son, Caleb Elijah Yates of the home; mother, Barbara Perky & Charlie Stevens of Limestone; mother & father-in-law Lavada & Carl Yates of Gray; grandparents, George & Eleanor Perky of Johnson City, TN and Bill & Harriet Perry of WI; two sisters, Jessica Perry of Limestone and Cassandra & Jeff Huff of Kingsport; two brothers, Aaron & Amber Perry of Jonesborough and Carmen Perry Jr. of Kingsport.
The family of Jennifer Louise Perry Yates will receive friends on Tuesday February 19, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Charles Galliher officiating at Snyder's Memorial Gardens, funeral home 5913 Kingsport Hwy. Gray, TN 37615
Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery Jonesborough, TN.
