Mrs. Burton West Dies Today After A Short Illness

Mrs. Burton West passed away early this morning in a local hospital following a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, and two sons, Dennis Burton and Roger Allen; her parents, Mr. and Mrs John Akers of Hooker; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Campbell of Norman and Mrs. Iola Behne of this city. Eight brothers, Howard of Cambridge, Ohio; Cecil of Hooker, Gene of Perryton, Steve of Hugoton, Roscoe of Guymon, Melvin of Hooker, Albert of Chicago and Russell who is with the United States Army.

Dorothy Geneva, 26 years of age, has lived all of her life in Texas county. Rev. E. W. Scroggins, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate at the services. The body will lie in state at the Merett Mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
