Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Wilba Greene Mitchell, passed away September 30, 1999 at age 93 at home in Murray, Utah.
Born November 25, 1905 to Moulbourne Platt and Eva Bertha Bennett Greene in Turner, Idaho. She married Clarence Farnes Mitchell October 1, 1924 in the Logan Temple. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Cleo G. Mitchell and a baby boy, unnamed; two baby daughters, Lila and Clarice and a grandson, Lane Mitchell.She is survived by three children and their spouses, Reuel G. Mitchell (Roma), LaMar G. Mitchell (Lita), and Katheryn M. Goebel (George); sisters, Eva G. Neeley and Zina G. Stevens; brother, Lawrence Greene (May); 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4,1999 at 11 a.m. in the Murray 12th Ward Chapel, 363 East Vine Street, Murray, Utah. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple and at the ward Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
