FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS CHRISTOBAL BENAVIDES DEAD
Christobal Benavides, a native of this city, age 28 years, a son of the late Captain Christobal Benavides and a member of a well known and prominent family of Laredo died in San Antonio yesterday morning at 2 o'clock after a lingering illness. The body arrived here this morning and was taken to the home of his sister Mrs. Amador Sanchez from where the funeral takes place this afternoon. He leaves his grief stricken mother Mrs. Christobal Benavides, five sisters, Mrs Amador Sanchez, Mrs H. J. Hamilton, and Mrs Lila Benavides of this city, Mrs Hyman and Mrs E. T. Laubacher of San Antonio and one brother Luis Benavides of this city.
