Graveside services for Donald Leroy Ballard, 71-year old Tahlequah man, was held Monday in the Greenleaf Cemetery. Interment was under the direction of the Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Ballard, born Jan, 30, 1902, in Indian Territory, had lived in Tahlequah 30 years. He was a retired construction, worker. He died Friday in the Hastings Memorial Hospital in Tahlequah. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Ruby Ballard, Tahlequah; three sons, Simon and Rick Ballard, both of Tahlequah, and Charley Ballard, Okmulgee; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Baskin, Stilwell, Mrs. Bernice Hathcoat, Welling, Mrs. Brenda Swepston, Park Hill, and Mrs. Sandra Young, Tahlequah; two brothers, two sisters and nine grandchildren.
