Kelvin Vance Jones, 72, passed away on February 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Benton, Arkansas and moved to Clay County in 1971.
Mr. Jones was a member of Island View Baptist Church and retired from the US Navy as a First Class.
Survivors include his loving wife, Thelma Dare Jones; son: Gregory Jones; 2 daughters: Beth Coffman and Andrea Cruise-Jones; and a granddaughter, Danielle Coffman.
Visitation will be held, 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday at Island View Baptist Church, 900 Park Ave, Orange Park with Rev. Kevin Collison officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 11:30 AM.
