I was told by Opal and Osie Byrd that my great-grandfather, George Washington Wallace was buried in this cemetery at the foot of the grave of Nancy Jane Hatfield Lewis, who was his grandmother. His mother was Eliza Jane Lewis Wallace Byrd. They pointed the grave out to me in person.
