GARNER
Johnny Carroll, 55, Moore, died Tuesday, January 7, 1997 at Oklahoma City. He was born May 27, 1941, to Fred & Ada Garner at Lexington. He was a graduate of Norman High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Garner was a veteran of the Oklahoma Army National Guard, and retired from OG&E where he had worked as a customer service representative. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Norman. Mr. Garner married Jackie Snook April 23, 1976 in Moore. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Garner, of the home; his mother, Ada Conn of Norman; 2 daughters, Mandy & Jennifer Garner, both of the home; a sister, Pat Clagg & a brother, Morris Garner, both of Norman. Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his father. Bearers were Dick Laws, Wayne Inteman, Ollen Dodd, Mike Gray, Dave Blair & Bob Usry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Building Fund for the First Freewill Baptist Church of Norman. Services were 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at the First Freewill Baptist Church, Norman, Rev. Joe Grizzle officiating. Burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
