Stephen Elliott Coleman, 29, of Bell City, died Friday, February 15, at his residence.


Stephen was born in Lake Charles and lived most of his life in Bell City. He attended St. Louis Catholic High School and Barbe High School before graduating from Louisiana State University in Eunice (LSU-E).


He was a farmer and cattleman in the Bell City area all of his life.



He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stanley Vaughn and great grandparents, Tony and Felicie Abate and Sidney and Marie Derouen.


Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 18, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Steve James and Monsignor Charles DuBois will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. A rosary will be recited by the Rev. Deacon Jack Reynolds at 6:00 PM Sunday night at the funeral home.


Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday and from 8:00 AM until time of services on Monday.
