DOUGLAS Reuel Clark, born November 14, 1904 in Bee, Oklahoma, died Saturday, November 18, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas. One of 12 children of a pioneering family who crossed the Red River from northern Texas into Oklahoma Indian Territory. Mr. Douglas graduated from Kingston High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College. He lost his right hand in 1942 while operating a cotton gin. With his brother, Averill Douglas, they owned the Douglas Brother's Feed and Seed Store on NE 23rd Street in Oklahoma City.

He married Irma Lois Fretwell in 1931 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, who still survives him. They soon moved to Oklahoma City where they became active members of the First Church of the Nazarene. He served on the Board of Directors and sang "Tenor" in the Sanctuary Choir. In addition to his wife, Irma, he is survived by a daughter; Madolyn Fallis of San Antonio, Texas; three grandsons, Greg Wright of Anchorage, Alaska, Mike Wright of San Antonio, Texas and Paul Fairchild of London, England. He also has 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services and entombment will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 1995 at 11:00 A.M. in the mausoleum chapel of Mission Burial Park North in San Antonio with Rev. Joan Ahrens officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 1995 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr. in San Antonio. The family requests memorials be made to the First Church of The Nazarene, 4400 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Okla.
