Rebecca Lynne Thomas Griffith, beloved wife, daughter and sister was called back home to our Heavenly Father on July 1, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A precious jewel has been taken from our home and we will miss her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She was recently married for eternity to her sweetheart John Robert Griffith in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 23, 2004 by her grandfather Lynn Newman. Becky graduated from Brighton High School in 2000. She was attending Salt Lake Community College and would have received her degree this fall. Becky had a love of life and her enthusiasm will be missed by all who knew her. She was an active member of the LDS Church. While we don't understand why her time with us was so short, we treasure the time and memories that we had with her and look forward to seeing her again one day. She is survived by her husband John Robert Griffith, her parents Lynn and Cherie Newman Thomas, her brothers and sisters: Tiffany(Chad) Rappleye, Kimberly(Guy) Goddard, Matthew(Nicole) Thomas, Brian Thomas, Amy(Mike) Gasik and Spencer Thomas. She is also survived by her grandparents, Verlyn and Leora Thomas and Lynn and Patricia Newman, as well as nieces and nephews who dearly loved her.
