CHAS. A. DANA PASSES AWAY IN HOSPITAL
Manager of Local Monument Concern and Member of Prominent Valley Family Dies At Ag of 42
   Charles A. Dana, 42, of 81 Carey avenue, city, a member of a prominent Wyoming Valley family, died this morning at 11 o'clock in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a three weeks' illness of complications. He had been admitted to the institution March 26 for medical treatment.
   For the past ten years, Mr. Dana had been manager of the local firm of Jones, Abbott and Martin, a monument concern. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dolores Storz, who passed away a decade ago.
   Mr. Dana was a deacon of First Presbyterian Church of this city, and was active in church work. He was also affiliated with Landmark Lodge, 442, F. & A. M. He attended Lafayette College.
   Survivors are two young children, Charles W. Dana, III, and Richard A. Dana, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Dana of this city; one sister, Miss Dorothy Dana, and three brothers, the Rev. Francis Allan, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Corinth, N. Y.; John N., of Carverton, and Robert W., of Clarksburg, West Va.
