Mark was a farmer and an active member of the Church of God in Carmi. He was an avid musician and mastered various stringed instruments and the harmonica. He also had a passion for his horses.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Browning of Carmi; son Dennis Browning of Carbondale, Colo.; daughter Glenda (Darrell) Hankins of Carmi; sisters Julia Pettijohn of Norris City, Katherine Coston, Maxine (Bob) Hancock, all of Carmi; grandchildren Louis Hankins, Jana (Jeff) Bradshaw, Jill (Ben) Talley; great grandchildren Kayleigh Hankins, Evan Talley, Ava Talley, Olivia Talley and Broden Bradshaw.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son Larry Browning; and sister Vernell Bates.
