Services for Melba Black Adams, 81, of Lindale will be on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with Lay Pastor Mark Johnson officiating.

A private burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Tyler under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Adams passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, under the care of The Hospice of East Texas.

She was born July 12, 1931, to Arcus and Lilly Black.

Mrs. Adams was a lifelong Tyler area resident and attended Cross Brand Cowboy Church. She graduated from Tyler High School.

She is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Audie Adams of Lindale; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Butch Wills of Tyler; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Cathy Adams of Tyler; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Adam Richardson, Caleb Wills, Taylor Wills and Brandon Coffey; great-grandson, Ethan Wills; and nephews, Ronnie Florence, Bill Hood and Joshua Adams.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior to service, on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.

If desired, memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701.
