Chad was born to Charles Alex and Jennifer Lou (Busby) Campbell on March 17, 1978 in Tulsa. He graduated from Charles Page High School and attended Tulsa Welding School and also Tiger Welding in 2006. Chad was a family man; he loved his family and taking care of his grandmother. Chad especially loved his niece Asia Jade, he called her AJ, and she was the light of his life. He had a big heart for rescuing animals.
Chad was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Charles Campbell and a great grandmother "Crazy Granny" Helen Spurgon
