Mr. James (Al) Boyd of Fairburn passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010. Mr. Boyd retired after 42 years of service with Southern Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Davis Boyd; son, Johnny Boyd and wife Pam of Fayetteville; sister, Ethelyn Adams of Fayetteville; brother, Kent Boyd of Fairburn; grandchildren, Allison Wessels and Lauren Miller; great grandchildren, Georgia Wessels, Rebekah Wessels, Mallerie Miller.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 26, 2010 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Darwin Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.
