He was an employee of the Charleston Street Department and a member of Lydia Robinson Presbyterian Church, the Moose and Eagle lodges.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Mandani Haskins of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Eveleen Ingram and Mrs. Joanna Tulley of Charleston; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
The body is at Cunningham Funeral Home.
The funeral will be there Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Walter W. White will officiate and burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
