Curtis Lee "Slim" Marsh, 74, of San Mateo died Sunday, October 22, 2000 at his residence following a long illness.
He was a native of Millstone, Kentucky and coming from Rockford, Ohio had been a resident of Putnam County for the past 29 years, first living in Palatka and later in San Mateo. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Jane Marsh; and one brother, Ray Marsh.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rema G. Marsh of San Mateo; one son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Kay Fleming of Tampa; one sister, Lola Bray of Bath, Michigan and one brother, James E. Marsh of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at the Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Rev. Clinton Buchanon, Pastor of the Lemon Heights Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Palatka Memorial Gardens with military honors given by the United States Army. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today.
