He died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Dallas, the son of William Marvin King Jr. and Winifred Cox. He grew up in Mineral Wells and then lived in New York and Brownwood.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Milledge Howard and Ginger King of Brownwood, and Homer and Susan Pittman of Crowley; sister and brother-in-law, Trudy and Gene Dawson of Springtown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
