ZANESVILLE -- Carrie Pearl (Halley) Snyder, 48, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born July 3, 1956, to Joy Rogers Wallace and the late Eddie Halley. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and her family and friends.

Surviving are her mother, Joy Wallace; her special love, Tom Basehart; her children, Frank "James" Thomas (Kelly Miller), Clyde "Sam" Thomas (Michele Hague) and Brittnay Snyder (Dan Pletcher); grandchildren Austin Thomas, Cole Snyder and Madison Pletcher, all of Zanesville; and several very good friends and special caregivers.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Pearl Rogers.

Calling hours are from noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Stephen J. Harrop officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the funeral home.
