OMA LEE WHITE HORTON, 69, of Southaven, passed away on February 20, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 41 years, Eugene C. Horton. She was preceded in death by her son, William "Archie" Arnold Austin, Jr.; and a brother, Jimmy White. She was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Horton is also survived by a daughter, Oma "Toby" Austin; a son, Justin Austin; and one stepdaughter, Janie Jones, all of Southaven; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six brothers; four sisters; several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be tonight, Thursday, February 22 from 5-8 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 23 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
