ORRVILLE--Rachel Frandsen, 71, 1880 Clover Ridge Drive, Orville, died Wednesday evening, January 24, 2007, at her residence, after a long illness. Friends may call today (Friday), Jan. 26, from 2-4 and 6-8 at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville. Burial of the remains will be at Mount Hope Cemetery Battle Creek, Iowa, at a later date. Memorial contributions may by made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691. Rachel was born May 11, 1935, in Mason County. WV., to the late Joseph and Bessie (Honaker)Kinnaird and married John L. Frandsen on June 29, 1958, in Huntington , WV. He survives. She was a 1952
graduate of Point Pleasant High School and was employed by the Kroger Corp. from 1968-79. She dedicated the remainder of her life to her home and her family. She lived in Vienna, WV., for 37 years, moving to Orrville in 2005. As a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, she set the moral and ethical bar for her family. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family. especially her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Timothy "Brent" Frandsen of Richmond, VA, and Neal Frandsen of Fredericksburg, VA., daughter, Jonni (David) Day of Whitehouse, TN, and Karen (Stephen)Lewis of Orrville; grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Day, Autumn and April Frandsen, Kelsey and Paige Lewis; great grandchildren, Jaxon and Mackenzie Day; a brother, Charles (Pam) Kinnaird of Vienna, WV.; and sisters, Ora Kinnaird of Marietta, Joyce Smith of Hurricane, WV., and Janice Ashworth of New Haven, WV.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
