Craig Parker, 42, died at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene on Saturday, February 16, 2013.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Roscoe with Reverend Tommie J. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mr. Parker was born in Giddings, Texas on February 20, 1970. He lived in Sweetwater for the past 19 years. Craig and Mica Elaine Blueford married on April 22, 1999. Craig had worked for Georgia Pacific for 16 years retiring in August of 2012 due to health. He was a graduate of Dime Box High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: Wife-Mica Parker of Sweetwater; Son-Kenneth Norman of Lubbock; Daughter-Kelsey Parker of Sweetwater; Parents-Melvin and Maggie Roberson of Lincoln, Texas; 1 Granddaughter-Kendra Norman of Austin; 5 Brothers-Michael Parker of Giddings, TX, Kenneth "Boobie" Parker and his wife, Sheena, of Bryan, TX, Eric Clemons and his wife, Jennifer, of Giddings, Derrick Roberson and his wife, Heather, of Paige, TX, Darren Roberson and his wife, Judy, of Kyle, TX; 3 Sisters-Sherron Moore and her husband, Robert, of Dime Box, TX, Keshia Dotson of Lubbock, and Jacqueline Stowers of Round Rock, TX.
