to Marissa Maulsby on January
6, 1915.
The first fifteen years of their
married life were spent on a
farm-northeast of Newell. They
moved into Newell in 1928 and
he continued working at farming.
He was a member of the Newell
Fire Department since 1928
and secretary during these years.
He is survived by his wife, Marissa,
one sister, Elsie, Mrs.
Ray Point of Storm Lake, seven
nieces and nephews, and many
other relatives and friends.
