Funeral services for Louis P. Prieur, 87, of 10 Colgate Drive, Massena, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Floyd J. Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Massena. Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena.
Mr. Prieur died Tuesday evening (Sept. 29, 1987) at the Massena Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted Sept. 3.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters and six brothers.
He was born March 4, 1900 In St. Anicet, Que., son of Alexander, and Christina Prieur. He attended local schools and married Margaret Congdon on Nov. 25,1929 at St. Cyril's Church in Alexandria Bay with Rev. Michael Fogety officiating.
Mr. Prieur worked for New York Telephone for 42 years as a line foreman and repairman, retiring in 1962. He was a life-member of the Knights of Columbus and the New York Telephone Pioneers of America Club, He was a communi- cant of Sacred Heart Church.
