MRS. IDA E. PURSER
Mrs. Ida E. Purser, 1406 Bass, died Dec. 23 at her residence. A resident of McKinney most of her life she was born March 12, 1885 in Collin County, the daughter of Porter and Zritha Marilla Wilmith Hill. She was a housewife and a member of the Altoga Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Staley, Mrs. Inthey Sweeney, Mrs. C.R. Askew, all of McKinney, Mrs. James T. Arrington of Farmersville, three sons. Bill Purser of Princeton, Loyd Purser of Altoga, Charlie Purser of Paris, 39 grand children, 64 great grandchildren, one brother, Less Hill of Calif., one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bohannon of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, four brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday in Turrentine - Jackson - Morrow chapel with interment in Ridgeview.
