Army Staff Sgt Galewski was assigned to 710th Explosive Ordnance Detachment, San Diego, California. He was killed in an accidental detonation of enemy rockets along with fellow soldiers Sgt. Brian Craig and Sgt. Jamie Maugans. After completing his assignment in Kandahar, Justin hoped to teach ordnance explosion when he returned home so he would no longer have to spend so much time away from his wife and two children. Justin and his fellow soldier, Sgt. Brian Craig, were known around the 710th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company as the "Wonder Twins". Not a day went by that they didn't do something to benefit the mission. No one can ever know how many lives Justin, Jamie and Brian saved.
