Mrs Ann E. Dano died at the home of her son , H. S. Dano, 527 So. Mott street, Los Angeles, California, Thursday, Nov. 28, 1912, aged 74 years, 7 months and 7 days.
The deceased was born in Vermont in 1838 and while quite young emigrated with her parents to the Middle West, settling in Wisconsin, where she lived for many years. About two years ago Mrs Dano moved with her husband, Frank E. Dano, from Oregon to California locating in Pomona, where the latter passed away last December. Besides many relatives and friends, the deceased leaves one daughter, Mrs Ella A. Brown , of Edgerton, Wisconsin, and six sons, Frank E. Dano , Ennis, [Ellis County], Texas; H.S. Dano Los Angeles, California, Burt L. Dano, Chelsea, Oklahoma, Florens E. Dano , The Dalles, Oregon; Oscar G. Dano, Los Angeles, California, and Eugene A. Dano, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota.
Chaplain, and Vicksburg Post, G. A. R. assisted by the ladies of the W. R. C. (Womens Relief Corps) of which Mrs Dano was a member. Burial will be in the family plot in Pomona, California."

"Mrs. Frank E. Dano died on Thursday at the home of her son, O.G. Dano in Los Angeles. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from Todd's Chapel on North Garey Ave. beginning at 2 o'clock. The body will be laid to rest in the Pomona Cemetery by the side of her late husband who passed on Dec. 11, 1911. The family formerly lived at 232 West Eleventh Street, this city. The W.R.C. will be in attendance at the service."
Her grave next to her husband's went without a marker until 2004, when her great-grandson, Mike VanBlaricom, arranged for it.
