Ralph J. Dicharry, a lifelong resident of Lutcher, LA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2013. He was 76 years old and retired from Chemtura (formerly Uniroyal Chemical) in Geismar, LA. Ralph has been a long-time member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, and other parish committees. Ralph had a very strong faith and was a loving husband, dad, brother, grandfather (Pops), and uncle. His grandkids called him Pops, his kids called him dad, but we really knew him as a mentor, and most of all a buddy. Later in life, God gave him a messed up deck of cards, and somehow with his personality, strength, and incurable smile and laugh, he still managed to pull off a winning hand. Ralph (Pops) will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and many others whom he brought a smile to on a daily basis.
