From the Cass City Chronicle:
"Funeral servies for Mrs. Chas Beach, who died Tuesday in the Morris Hospital, Cass City, will be conducted this Friday afternoon at two o'clock in the Gagetown Methodist Church by Rev. George Bush. The remains were in the Hunter Funeral Home until this noon at twelve o'clock when they were taken to the church to lie in state until the funeral hour. The body was interred in the Gagetown cemetery.
Mrs. Beach suffered a broken hip on April 7 and has been ill since that time.
Elnora Streeter, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Streeter, was born Nov. 22, 1863, near Fairgrove in Tuscola County. In 1893 she moved from Almer Township to a farm, one mile south of Gagetown. In February (24th) 1878, she was married to Charles Beach, who preceded her in death in 1924.
Relatives who survive Mrs. Beach are a son, Alvin D. Beach, of Gagetown, and a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Butler, of Cass City; a sister, Mrs. O. B. Luther, of Unionville; six half brothers, John, Oscar, Roland, Ray Herman, and Sherman Streeter; a half sister, Mrs. Beatrice Thompson of Whitemore; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Lura A. Ames, preceded her in death.
Relatives and friends from West Branch, Pontiac, Detroit, and Flint attended the funeral service."
