Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Eugene Lytell Johnson and Wilma Leon Johnson, and his eldest brother, Eugene J. Johnson, Sr. (Gloria).

Elliott is survived by 7 siblings: Emily J. Washington, Carolyn J. Lewis (Emile), Earl G. Johnson, Sr. (Carolyn), Ronald G. Johnson, Sr. (Joan), Wayne G. Johnson, Sr. (Rhonda), Dianne J. Nagin (Dana), and Elaine J. Conaway. He is the nephew of Veronica L. Sawyer (Lawton, OK) and Gloria J. Ganier (Los Angeles, CA). Elliott is also survived by his only godchild, Katherine Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Relatives, friends, and employees of AT&T, US Postal Services, United Parcel Services, Capital One Bank, Domino Sugar Refinery, ExxonMobile Chalmette Refinery, Touro Rehabilitation Center, Kindred Hospital, and Good Samaritan Nursing Home are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raymond and St. Leo The Great Parish Church, 2916 Paris Ave., on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10 AM. Visitation will begin at 9 AM.

Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
