Sister Stephanie Lenore Coleman Lewis was born January 10, 1968, to Charlie and Minnie Coleman in Madison County, Alabama.

Stephanie confessed hope in Christ on Sunday, July 18, 1981, and joined St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church under the Pastorship of the late George E. Franklin Sr. She served faithfully as a member of the Youth Choir, Usher Board, Scholarship Committee and Vacation Bible School Committee.

She received her earlier education from the Madison County School System and graduated from Bob Jones High School. She continued her adult education at Calhoun Community College where she received her Bachelor Degree in Nursing. Stephanie was employed as a Registered Nurse at Huntsville Hospital until her health began to deteriorate.

On October 11, 1996, Stephanie was united in Holy Matrimony to Tyree Q. Lewis and to this union, one child was born, Jada S. Lewis. They shared fourteen loving years together.

Graciously and quietly, Stephanie answered her Master's call to eternity on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband: Mr. Tyree Q. Lewis; one precious daughter: Jada S. Lewis, both of Decatur, Alabama; step-daughter: Jessica Lewis of Hartselle, Alabama; her beloved parents: Charlie and Minnie Coleman of Madison, Alabama; three loving brothers: Darrin, Doyle (Teresa), and Blake Coleman all of Madison, Alabama; three uncles: Elder Columbus (Carolyn) Waddle Jr. of Madison, Alabama, Elder Wilbur (Benita) Waddle of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Mr. C. W. Waddle of Decatur, Alabama; five aunts: Hattie Sandefur, Maggie (James) Taylor, Ida Battle (Seabron), Teresa King (Gary) all of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Annie Lewis of Cleveland, Ohio; one great-aunt: Toy Lee Brown of Chattanooga, TN; six nephews: Christopher (Shervondolyn) Coleman of Ft. Worth, Texas; Justin and Jonathan Coleman of Atlanta, Georgia, Jarrett Coleman of Birmingham, Alabama, Justin and Josh Lewis of Decatur, AL; one niece: Temeka Coleman of Atlanta, Georgia; father and mother-in-law: Joe and Margaret Lewis; two brothers-in-law: Steven (Glenda) Lewis and Jackie Lewis; three sisters-in-law: Christa Lewis and Kathy Lewis, both of Decatur, Alabama, and Angela Cosey of Mobile, Alabama, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the St. Andrews Primitive Baptist Church (1393 Swancott Road; Madison, AL 35756) with Reverend Columbus Waddle, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Madison Memory Gardens. Mrs. Lewis will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be from 12:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011 and 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Royal Funeral Home.
