Mrs. Hawkins was a homemaker and had lived in Scottsburg since 1942. She was a member of the Scottsburg Church of Christ.
Born Feb. 7, 1913, in Burkesville, Ky., she was a daughter of Daniel Austin Lacy and Isabelle Norris, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons, Robert W. Hawkins and Gilbert Hawkins, both of Seymour, Hubert Hawkins, Scottsburg, and Kenneth E. Hawkins, Carrollton, Ga.; two daughters, Juanita Gladden, Austin, and Thelma Sanders, Scottsburg; a sister, Maxie Ann Griffey, Bloomington; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Hawkins; two sons, Henry Hawkins and Raymond Hawkins; and a brother, Eldeth Lacy.
Marvin McGlothlin will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Scottsburg Church of Christ. Burial will be at Scottsburg Cemetery.
