Pete Matus, 68, of Country Club Road, Monongahela, PA. He was the son of the late Charles, Sr. and Mary Lengyel Matus. He was a Veteran of World War II, and was retired from Mathies Coal Company.
Mr. Matus was a member of St. Nicholas Ukranian Orthodox Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Metro. Survivors include his wife, Ann Beck Matus, one daughter, Mrs. William (Lillian) Beattie and one grand-daughter, Cathy. Five brothers survive along with three sisters.
