Mrs. Lewis Carnicom, 62, died at her home in Helena, O., at 12:15 Thursday afternoon, after suffering from a stroke of paralysis for the past five years being a confirmed invalid for nearly a year.
The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock, eastern time, Saturday morning, at Salem Lutheran church, Four-mile House, the Rev. William Wiegman of Lindsey, to officiate, assisted by Rev. W. A. Bowman, of Fremont. Burial will follow in Four-mile House cemetery.
Ellen Carnicom was the daughter of Henry and Catherine Gilbert and was born Feb. 1, 1860, two miles north of Fremont. At the time of her death, she was aged 62 years, 4 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage with Lewis Carnicom at Fremont on January 27, 1881. They were the parents of eight children, six sons and two daughters and one son preceded the mother to the grave 18 years ago.
Surviving are the husband and the following children: Mrs. O. J. Garn, Toledo; Edward of Burgoon: Harry of Gibsonburg; Oliver, Carl and Clyde, at home, and Mrs. George Humberger of Helena. Eight grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Green of Fremont, also mourn her loss, besides numerous other relatives and many friends.
She was a good Christian woman, a devoted wife and mother, and a kind and obliging neighbor and friend.
