Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the St. John's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Rev. A.O. Bleeke was in charge. Interment was in the Buena Vista Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Otteman, who was employed by the state Soil Conservation District, suffered his injuries on Tuesday afternoon July 17, on a county road 8 1/2 miles north and 3 miles west of Alta. Mr. Otteman suffered a broken neck.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Arlin of Sac City, Delwin of Albert City; and two daughters, Ronona and Dorthe at home. There are also several grandchildren.
