Vonda Pauline Swallow Warren Lott, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 16, 2013, at her home of natural causes.

Vonda was born June 21, 1922 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Edmund Beeston Swallow and Ada Lorene Spencer Swallow. She grew up in Pocatello and attended Pocatello High School.

On April 3, 1940, Vonda married Velton Willard Warren in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Tyhee, ID and later moved to San Diego while Velton was serving in the Navy during World War II.

After the war, they moved back to the Pocatello area and then to the state of Washington, and moved to Idaho Falls in 1973. They lived in CA and FL while Velton worked on the space shuttle program and then returned to Idaho Falls in 1991. They were the parents of four children: Connie, Kent, Mark and Jewel. Velton passed away December 19, 1992.

On September 21, 1995 Vonda married Fred Newton Lott and remained in Idaho Falls. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Vonda served in Young Women Presidencies, Relief Society Presidency, as a ward missionary, Activities Chairman and teacher in many organizations.

She enjoyed both ballroom and square dancing, ceramics, cooking and decorating. She square danced from Arizona to Alaska.

Vonda is survived by her husband, Fred Lott, of Idaho Falls; daughters: Connie Morgan, of Rigby, and Jewel Harker, of Alpine, UT; sons: Kent Warren, of Bountiful, UT, and Mark Warren, of Abingdon, MD; sister, Maxine Swallow, of Chehalis, WA; brother, Blaine Swallow, of Lewiston; stepsons: Randy Lott and Jay Lott, both of Soda Springs; stepdaughters: Sherry Beker, of Soda Springs, and Teresa Sheppick, of McCammon; four half-brothers and two half-sisters; 21 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Velton Warren; her parents, stepparents; and three half-sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Idaho Falls LDS 2nd Ward, 885 South Boulevard, with Bishop Jay Doman officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45am at the church.

Burial will be in the Groveland Cemetery.

She was under the care of Home Health and Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
