Lucille H. Berry, 92 of Beverly Hills, Fla., died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, in the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. Lucille was born in Fondee, Ky., Saturday, Oct. 9, 1920, to Thomas and Stella (Williams) Huddleston. She was a retired secretary for an oil company. Lucille moved to this area from Southgate, Mich., in 1983. She enjoyed casinos, gambling boats and traveling.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Berry in 2000; brother, Roy Huddleston and sister, Viola Temple. Survivors include her sons, David Berry and wife Patty of Monroe, Mich., and Donald Berry of Beverly Hills; brothers, Virgil Huddleston of Flat Rock, Mich., George Huddleston and wife Laila of Beaver Creek, Ohio and Thomas Huddleston and wife Margret of Woodbridge, Va.; sisters, Rosetta Heath of Fairfield Glade, Tenn., Bobbie Mares and husband Cliff of Macon, Ga., and Sonja Miller and husband Roy of San Antonio, Texas; five granddaughters; and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation, 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Fero Funeral Home. Chapel service at 2 p.m., with entombment to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
