Rebecca Pricilla Pitcher, the daughter of John
and Mary Pitcher, was born on May 6, 1880
at Havensville, Kansas. She passed away on
November 10, 1951 at the age of 79 years, 6
months and 4 days.

Her girlhood and early married life were spent
near Havensville. Later they moved to Ver-
million, Kansas where she became a member
of the Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband Charles; one
daughter,Esther N. Stevenson, Salem, Oregon
one son, Truman E. Force, Alexandria,
Minnesota; three grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

She was one of nine children, five have
preceded her in death. Living are two sisters,
Sadie McCloughan, Onaga, Kansas and Mary
Johnson, Pasadena, California; one brother
Frank Pitcher, Oakland, California.

For the past several years she has been
confined to her bed with a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held at the Christian
Church in Vermillion, Kansas on November
13, 1951.

Interment was in the Vermillion Cemetery,
Vermillion, Kansas.
