Mrs. Walls was born June 5, 1909, in Heard County to the late James and Molly Holsombeck Shirey. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, and moved to Columbus nine years ago. She was retired from Uniroyal, Inc., and was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville.
A funeral will be held today, April 2, 2000, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Jimmy Brown will officiate and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Bonnell Parker of Talbotton, brother, J. Bennie Shirey of Griffin; granddaughters Bonnie Parker of Columbus and Sue Parker and her husband Randy of Atlanta, and twin great grandchildren Leah and Jake Parker.
