"Grandmother of 43 to Be Buried Tuesday
"Montrose - Mrs. Mary L. Hurry, grandmother of 43, great-grandmother of 68 and great-great-grandmother of 4, died Saturday at the age of 86 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Ladd, in Albee township.
"Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church, of chich she was a member, with the Rev. Roy C. Johns, the pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Montrose cemetery. The body is at Mrs. Hurry's residence here and the Charles Madison funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
"Mrs. Hurry was born March 17, 1855, in Macomb county, the daughter of Amos and Sophronia Church Beach. She came to Genesee county in 1885 and had been a resident of Montrose for the last 39 years. She was married to I. J. Hunt in 1870. He died in 1901 and in 1905 she was married to George Hurry, who died in 1930.
"She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Frank Smith of Montrose, Mrs. D. S. Lane of Flint, Mrs. Jay F. Warner of Corunna and Mrs. Lad; a son, Orlo Hunt of Flushing; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jossie Bailey of Chesaning; a stepson, Harry Hurry of Clio, and a sister, Amanda Smith of Saginaw."

"A five-generation family was broken Saturday with the death of Mrs. Mary Nell Hurry, 86, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Ladd of Albee township. The funeral will take place at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Montrose Methodist church. Rev. Roy Johns will officiate and burial will be in Montrose cemetery. Mary Nell Beech was born March 17, 1855, in Macomb county, and was married to I. J. Hunt in 1870. They came to Genesee county in 1885 and Mr. Hunt died in 1901. She was married to George Hurry in 1905 at Montrose and he died in 1930. Mrs. Hurry, a resident of Montrose for 39 years, was a member of Montrose Methodist church.
