GAILEN A. PERRY, BUS AGENT, DIES
Gailen A. Perry, 68, agent of the Dallas bus depot for the past 14 years, died at his home beside the bus depot Friday afternoon after an illness of several months.
Funeral services were at the Bollman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fremont Faul officiating. Burial was in Gillespie cemetery, Eugene. Mr. Perry was born April 10, 1885, at Albion, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Perry. He was married to Grace Ruseling at Barron, Wis., September 30, 1909.
After living at Eleva, Wis., from 1909 to 1916, he moved to St. Vincent Minn., for 13 years. In 1929 he came to Oregon, first living at Eugene and then coming to Dallas in 1939.
He was a member of the Methodist church at Eleva, and was former employee of the Oregon state milk control board for five years. He was a buyer for Montgomery-Ward mail order house in Twin cities for four years.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Grace R. Perry of Dallas; a son, E. Brooks Perry of Eugene; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Betker of Livingston, Mont., Mrs. Eva Gibson of Eleva, and Mrs. Emma Gilbert of Prior Lake, Minn.; a brother Harry Perry of Eau Claire, Wis.; and four grandchildren. ~~~END~~~

Gailen Perry was the son of Thomas Henry Perry and Roseltha (Shay) Perry of Wisconsin. Father of Flora Roseltha (Perry) Culp of Medford, Jackson County, Oregon and Erwin "Brooks" Perry of Eugene. He died from prostate cancer at the age of 68.
