Kevin E. Mathews, Sr., 50, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his residence. Kevin was born June 30, 1960 in Cambridge, Ohio to Charles Edward, III and Vera Lee (Burton) Mathews.
He proudly served his country as Crew Chief in the United States Army and was a combat veteran of Desert Storm. Kevin was a mechanic for UPS, enjoyed his family and was a dedicated member of the VFW.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Brigitta; son, Kevin Edward Mathews II; siblings, Kirby (Tressie) Mathews, Kelley (Bonnie) Noe , Kurt Mathews , Kyle Mathews and Kirsten Mathews and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Heather R. Mathews.
Funeral services will be held for immediate family members and a memorial service will be held in Richmond, Indiana at a later date.
