Mrs. Anna Walker Dies On Thursday

Mrs. Anna G. Walker, 73, passed away at 6:30 A.M. Thursday, March 17th, at Burnham hospital, Champaign. She had been in ill health for several months.
Funeral services will be held at Morehouse Funeral Home at 2 P.M., Saturday, March 19th, with Rev. Robert Bieber officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was born south of Pana on January 10, 1882, to William and Sarah Jane Morrell. She married Asa Walker on January 7, 1903, and they had made their home in Homer for the past twenty-one years. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 14, 1950. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Laura Hilderbrant, Homer; a granddaughter, Mrs. Betty Koenig, Urbana, three great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Benton Morrell of Witt, and John Morell of Cowden.
