Jesse I. Kitner, 61, of Carlisle, R. D. 1, State Highway Department employe, died yesterday at Carlisle Hospital.
He was the son of the late John and Martha Foltz Kitner and was a truck driver for the local division of the State Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Hockenberry Kitner; four sons, Dale K., Lemoyne; John S., Dillsburg R. D. 1; Vance L., Carlisle R. D. 1, and Ray W., U. S. Army at Valley Forge; two daughters, Betty Jean and Gladys Marie, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Findley, Harrisburg, and Mrs Martha McCartney and Mrs. Charles Eckerd, Mechanicsburg, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 in the Lutz-Hoffman Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Perry County. Rev. Alvert E. Shenberger will officiate. Friends may call Sunday night at the funeral home.
