Royalty. Born the fifth child of Ferdinand I and Anna Jagiello. She was married to Wilhelm of Jülich-Kleve-Berg to strengthen the Treaty of Venlo. Her uncle Emperor Charles V granted Wilhelm the privilege, that in case of the extinction of the male line of his house, his daughters were deemed capable of succeeding. Despite it being an arranged marriage they were happy and had seven children. Like her grandmother Juanna she was regarded as moody and was at first only temporarily and later entirely insane.
