Royalty. Born the fifth child of Ferdinand I and Anna Jagiello. She was married to Wilhelm of Jülich-Kleve-Berg to strengthen the Treaty of Venlo. Her uncle Emperor Karl V granted Wilhelm the privilege that in case of the extinction of the male line of his house his daughters were deemed capable of succeeding. Despite it being a arranged marriage they were happy and had seven children. Like her grandmother Juanna she was regarded as moody and was at first only temporarily and later entirely insane.
