Homer, Ill., March 22.—Mrs. John A. Tudor, one of the best known women in this city and the wife of John Tudor, the druggist, died this morning at 8 o’clock at her home here, after a long illness. She had been in ill health for several years, but it was not until recently that her condition became serious. She was born in Indiana and was united in marriage with Mr. Tudor March 11, 1878, since which time she had been a resident of Homer. Besides the husband she is survived by one son, William Tudor, at home, and one sister, Mrs. T. J. Stiver, of Wilsey, Kans.
Funeral services will be held some time Saturday, but the hour has not yet been fixed. (transcribed by Homer Historical Society)
